Lyle said...: Hello! I just became a follower of your blog. We have a few things in common. My ex-wife is a wee lassie frae bonnie Scotland. Even though we are divorced we remain very close friends. She has kin in Edinburgh (she's from Prestwick) and we have been to Scotland many times.

Secondly, I have Scandinavian roots. Mostly Norwegian, some Danish . . . unfortunately, no Swedish (they said I wasn't handsome enough to be a Swede).

Quite a lovely child you have. Enjoy. They grow up way too fast. Just yesterday mine were the size, shape and age of yours. Today they're both in their mid 40's.
